When Resistance Awaits

"Art begins with resistance - at the point where resistance is overcome. No human masterpiece has ever been created without great labor."

~ André Gide

After several weeks without painting I am pulled to the art table yet I resist fiercely. That usually means it's doubly important that I go.

Postscript: I let my muse guide me and this is where she led me. It's a work in progress, but I like where it's going.

a work in progress

What pulls you today? What resistance awaits to be overcome?

I love where it's going. You are blowing me away these last few months. I can't imagine why you aren't getting yourself to the table more often. You should! Brilliant!
