Scenes from Marble Rock Conservation Area

Here are a few favourite photos from our Thanksgiving weekend hike to the Marble Rock Conservation Area; it had been a while since I'd been on a "real" hike. It was good.

it was a gorgeous, sunny day

there were purple flowers

and white berries

and birch bark draped in sunlight

dining accommodations with a view

sun-dappled rocks to scramble up, down and around,

giving my body a long overdue workout
